We have over 30 years’ experience transporting cars nationwide and have visited every corner of the country. Should you require shipment outside of the U.K. or Europe we have good relations with a couple of shipping companies that we can recommend.
All our vehicle transporters are of the cleanest Euro 6 standard and have been specially made to our own specifications and requirements. All have very shallow load angles, winches & air suspension. We have covered transporters and open or covered trailers, which enable us to deal with the movement of 1 to 4 vehicles at any one time. We hold a National Operators Licence and all our vehicles are listed on our licence. We run on tachographs to Vehicle Inspectorate regulations and work to European Working Time Directive rules, we are members of the Road Haulage Association.
Needless to say any vehicle is fully insured whilst in our care, whether transported or driven.
We have developed a reputation as the preferred choice for secure, covered transportation of fine automobiles for clients worldwide and have moved a wide variety of cars ranging from vintage Austin Sevens, Lancias and Bentleys to modern day Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Porsches and Rolls Royces.
When you ask for a quote for transport from us you can be sure that we are fully compliant and that all our drivers have undertaken DCPC training. Our transport vehicles also have high gross vehicle weights which mean that they will never be overloaded. Unfortunately there are many competitors in this field who may claim to be legal, so do your checks carefully, especially that the carrying vehicle is capable of legally carrying the weight of your vehicle and that it is listed on an operators licence if its GVW is over 3500kg. The following information from the DVLA may be of help:
“Motor vehicles and trailers: You’ll need a goods vehicle operator’s licence for a motor vehicle and trailer combination if: the motor vehicle and the trailer(s) are plated and the total of their gross plated weights is more than 3,500 kg or the total unladen weight of the vehicle and trailer combination is more than 1,525 kg. You don’t need an operator’s licence if your trailer’s unladen weight is less than 1,020 kg and you only carry your own goods.” (i.e. any towing vehicle with a covered car transporter trailer will require an Operators Licence).
